The neighborhood can feel a bit dark at night, requiring a cautious stroll to the center which may deter some travelers.

What an absolute disapointment. The shower took forever to warm up, and by the time it did, I was wasting precious water. Also felt unsafe with the sketchy location, no one even offered me a room upgrade as a token for my troubles. Incredibily lackluster experience. I almost gave it a decent review, just couldn't.

I had a refreshing solo trip, and the convenience of this location made it special. Enjoying morning coffee while watching the city come alive was a highlight. The tiny bathroom added a quirky charm, keeping me focused on exploring Oaxaca's vibrant streets!

Staying at Casa Gubidxa was like a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The patio provided a lovely space to wind down after a day of exploring. The room had fresh cleaning and was pretty comfortable. I appreciated the staff's warmth. They offered excellent local tips, made my adventures much easier. The bathroom could use some upgrades. The sink was quite small. The location, while convenient for city exploration, was not very visually appealing at first glance. Near the end of my stay, I encountered intermittent hot water issues in the shower, disappointing. The positives outweighed the negatives.

This place was an excellent fit for a little getaway in Oaxaca with a reasonable price. I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace where I could unwind and enjoy fine views of the city's landscape. It's best to bring earplugs for a more comfortable sleep due to outside noise.

The kids loved the free coffee and convenient 24-hour front desk while we enjoyed the beautiful art galleries nearby. Our spacious room was perfect for the family, especially with nice A/C, and the views from the shared balcony were fine.

For dads, it would be great if the shower water pressure improved.
